Well Wed Table scape 2011

Tarts and Pies are all the crave….

I know it has been a while since I last wrote, But…. I have been really busy, going to San Diego and now in Mexico!!!! The weather has been beautiful in both places and I have seen some great inspirations and of course have taken photos but haven’t down loaded them yet.  I’m heading to the ocean (right outside the door) and taking in some sun and fun and later tonight think about loading the photos into the computer and will come back to post them up.  that’s all for now in Beautiful Mexico.1rings

Photo by Karin Vonvoightlander:  I will miss not having her here in Rochester, but NYC is lucky!!

0023Every year I see amazing colors that stand out and in 2008 there were a few but one color that stood out and gave a WOW factor, was the Deep Purple Current which played a part in a few weddings.  This jewel tone color was used in the Spring and we paired it with Chartreusse & Chocolate (Green Cybidium Orchids, girls in T-length Victorian purple, and Chocolate linens with accents of green/purple) and in the Fall we did an all Jeweled tone theme with Black Beauty Roses (Ruby in color), shades of deep Burgundy Callas (even deeper purple), Navy gowns (Saphire) and accents of Platinum showing up in the chargers, cake plateau, candelabras and papers all together the colors were so rich.

The great thing with color is you can use it over and over and have totally different outcomes, both great and gorgous but reflecting their own style and I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of this color.

All wrapped up for the Holidays

All wrapped up for the Holidays

I LOVE NYC in the wintertime and this year was no exception!! I thought this was a great photo with the building wrapped for the holidays you could see the big red bow all the way down 5th Ave. So many great windows, the hussle and bustle of the people and everyone in the spirit!  Happy Holidays to everyone and hope that you received a Big Red Bow around whatever you wanted this year.

For all who know me know that I have a sidekick Grayson, and seeing this photo (which I had to post) you already know that he is typically not sleeping but wanting attention (yes, he acts as if I ignore him all day everyday) but after a few moments of you petting him, he already knows he has won you over and has a friend for life.  He is so famous that I have been out with friends or having a conversation and someone will come up and ask me “How’s Grayson?” or that they “miss him” or better yet… This Cat  has been photographed too many times to count by passerby’s during Cornhill Fest because he just exudes the “too cool for school” which I have to say he is.  Yeap, that’s Grayson my sidekick.
